Erin is a dynamic Nurse Practitioner with many years of experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of diverse patient populations in various medical settings. She is a graduate of St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Hartford, CT. She received her Masters of Science Degree from Simmons College in Boston, MA.

She has many years of experience in Critical Care nursing for Adult and Pediatrics Patients at Boston City Hospital. Erin also has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care, long term care as well as urgent care settings.

Erin attained the Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) designation by demonstrating exceptional knowledge in wound care and management.

Erin is available to assess and treat diabetic foot ulcers, arterial and venous ulcer, pressure ulcers, chronic osteomyelitis, radiation-related tissue damage and any ulcer or wound that persists for more than 6 weeks despite medical care. She will perform as indicated vascular, nutritional, infection and pain assessments. Intervention and prescriptions as needed are all a part of the protocols. Wound treatment protocols may include advanced wound care technologies, negative pressure therapies and bioengineered skin substitutes.

Erin seeks collaboration with home care agencies, physical therapists and podiatrists regarding direct wound care, footwear and application of off-loading techniques as well as edema management. To support the clinical process she provides patient and family educations regarding acute wound care and long-term preventative interventions.
